Oscar's Multi-Monitor Taskbar is a great tool for those who use a dual monitor setup in Windows. Basically, the application adds a second taskbar on the extended desktop monitor. It also shows the standard window list that are open on monitor, which allows seperation of windows per desktop. This allows you to manage and take full advantage of your dual moniotr setup. One of the neat features is an arrow on the top corner of all windows allowing you to quickly and easily switch the window's monitor. Also, the tool includes a clipboard history toolbar on the taskbar that allows you to quickly access previous clipboard items. All together, a wonderful freeware application. You can grab it over at http://www.mediachance.com/free/multimon.htm , direct download link here . I have included a couple screenshots below. Pidgin is an instant messenger client that supports loads of different IM protocols. Now I know there are many clients out there that do this, Trillian, Gaim, etc. but all have limitations and what not. Trillian is very pretty but costs money for full version and full feature set. Gaim is a bit ugly but does get the job done. Pidgin by no means is the prettiest client I have ever seen, buts its interface is simplistic, similar to gTalk. I have found this quit nice. Lets go over a few of the features. Comments (0) | Add as favourites (59) | Quote this article on your site | Views: 255 |
